New organisations get 14 days of Professional, with single sign-on, enforced policies and audit log export, so you can try it with your team before deciding. During the trial you can send files of up to 1 MB, 10 in all. The owner is emailed 3 days before the trial ends and again on the day. Then the organisation moves to Free unless you subscribe.

No. You can send a one-off secret without signing up, up to two a day. Anonymous links open once and last up to 7 days; a free account allows up to 2 views.

Every month. On a monthly plan, that’s the date your subscription renews; on an annual plan, it’s the same day each month as your subscription started. On Free, it’s the first of each calendar month (UTC). During the trial, the count runs from the day the trial started.

Each secret you create, text or file, counts once, however many people it’s emailed to. A secret someone sends you by filling in your request also counts towards your organisation’s total.

You can’t create new secrets until the count resets or you upgrade, and the app tells you so. Links you’ve already sent keep working. If your organisation reaches its member limit, you can’t invite anyone else until you upgrade or remove someone.

Per organisation. Members share the plan’s monthly secrets and its member count.

The organisation’s owner chooses a plan on the Billing page in the app, monthly or annual, and pays through Stripe. The new plan’s limits apply as soon as the payment goes through. Admins can see the plan and usage, but only the owner can change it.

To move to a lower paid plan, or between monthly and annual billing, the owner picks it on the Billing page. A move to a lower plan takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

To cancel, the owner opens “Manage billing”, which takes them to Stripe’s customer portal. The plan stays active until the end of the period, then the organisation moves to Free. Until that date, “Reactivate” on the Billing page undoes the cancellation.

On a plan without single sign-on (below Professional), members sign in with their password and two-factor code instead. Anyone who has only ever used SSO can set a password with “Forgot password”. On Free, enforced policies stop applying. Your SSO settings and saved policy are kept and work again if you upgrade. The Billing page warns the owner before a downgrade that turns either off, and the owner is emailed when it’s scheduled.

Nothing. Limits are checked when a secret is created, so links you’ve already sent keep the expiry and view count they were created with, and file secrets already sent can still be downloaded until they expire. New secrets follow the new plan’s limits.

The organisation is marked as past due and the owner sees a “Payment overdue” notice with a link to update the card. While it’s past due, your plan’s limits stay in place, but sending file secrets and exporting the audit log are paused, and people can’t answer your requests with a file. Single sign-on keeps working, so a failed card never locks your team out. Once payment goes through, everything works again. If Stripe finally cancels the subscription, the organisation moves to Free.

Yes. Standard, Professional and Business can be billed annually at 10 times the monthly price, so 2 months are free. The owner can switch between monthly and annual on the Billing page. Secrets are still counted per month.
